Dicsa stakes employment integration of disabled people

 

For the fifth consecutive year, Dicsa takes part of a project that promotes employment integration of disabled people. This company will welcome one of the nine members that has been awarded to attend the “administrative support course”. The goal of this project is to provide the disable people knowledge and skills to work as administrative assistants.

María Jesús de Glaría, member of Dicsa´s team for a year, formed part of this project and thanks to this program has succeeded be reintegrated into the labour market. María Jesús said: “There should be more companies as Dicsa that believe in professional skills of elderly and disabled workers”.

This member of Dicsa was two years unemployed, and when she was hired by Dicsa she recovered “illusion and mental toughness”. For her coworkers María Jesús has become a valued and appreciated member that reflects the values of Dicsa company.

In 2009 the company sales decrease sharply, due global economic crisis. But Dicsa has reinvented itself as successful international company and it has tripled its sales in the last few years, nowadays it is the indisputable leader of its sector.

 

This Dicsa initiative is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, with which it contributes to social improvement and it supports the most vulnerable sections of the community. Because Dicsa believes that a better world is possible.
